Omar Azam, Associate

Omar is an associate attorney with The Hudgins Law Firm, P.C. His practice focuses on first-party insurance defense, commercial disputes, and personal injury.
Omar graduated from Texas A&M University in 2016 with honors. While a student at A&M, Omar studied abroad in central Europe and Turkey. Omar graduated from Baylor University School of Law in 2021, where he served as a research assistant to Professors Rory Ryan and Christine Robinson. Omar clerked at the Western District of Texas for the Honorable Jeffrey Manske and served as an intern at the 68th District Court of Dallas County for the Honorable Martin Hoffman. Omar assisted his professors on research projects during law school and worked part-time while raising a family. The experience taught Omar the value of time as a resource. Before law school, Omar worked as a legal assistant and trademark analyst.
Omar lives with his wife and two daughters and enjoys visiting his family all over Texas. He is fluent in Hindi and Urdu.
